Holds a PhD in Science and Technology of the Arts from the Portuguese Catholic University and a degree in Sound and Image from the same institution. He obtained a master's degree in Multimedia Art from the University of Porto
As a researcher at CITAR, his research focuses on two main areas: sound for cinema and media interaction in the context of public art. His work deals with sound and visual interaction using new musical instruments applied to sonic contexts. The city and sculpture in public space are central themes of his research, which explores sound and its connection with technology.
In cinema she develops sound capture and post-production work, participating in various national and international film festivals.
