The Conservation and Restoration Centre (CCR) is a technology and knowledge transfer infrastructure whose mission is the preservation and restoration of cultural and artistic heritage, promoting its study, safeguarding and enhancement. It has a highly qualified and multidisciplinary team of professionals which, in addition to conservators-restorers (with different areas of specialisation), includes art historians, as well as chemists and photographers, specialised in various methods of examination and analysis applied to the conservation of works of art.
