CITAR is committed to the development of artistic research informed by practices and concepts inscribed in human-driven impulses of our postdigital era, the challenges and possibilities of the digital arts and humanities, in tandem with the complexity of analogue art forms and technologies. Pressing issues in the digital and traditional arts and humanities have stimulated our commitment to inquiries and goals articulated in three focus-based areas: Sound and New Media Art, Cinema and Visual Arts, and Heritage and Conservation-Restoration. The Center presently hosts 51 Ph.D integrated members, 60 doctoral students, and 41 collaborators.
