RENATO CRUZ SANTOS
Renato Cruz Santos is a multidisciplinary artist hailing from Caxinas, Portugal.
His work primarily focuses on themes of memory, fictional imagination, and the deconstruction reality. Much of his work is produced in his hometown, where he has several ongoing long-term projects.
Cruz Santos is actively involved in various cultural subjects such as dance, theater, music, and film in both Porto and Lisbon.
In 2014, he was an intern at Público, where he published several times, and his work has also been featured in publications such as Les Inrockuptibles, The Guardian, 99u, Expresso, and Subbacultcha.
As a member of the collective association Bind’O Peixe, Cruz Santos has worked to preserve local memory, heritage and culture of Caxinas.
Currently based in Porto, he works regularly with organizations such as Câmara Municipal do Porto, Galeria Municipal do Porto, the record label/promoter Lovers & Lollypops, Porto/Post/Doc IFF, Porto Design Biennale, Culturgest.
He has regularly taken photographs for records and has been published in various books such as 'Quatro Elementos' from Galeria Municipal do Porto, Post-nostalgic Knowings, To School Out Of School and The Time(s) of Contemporaneity from Coletivos Pláka.
In 2022, he was responsible for the image of 15ª Festa do Cinema Italiano.

CARLOS LOBO
Carlos Lobo (Guimarães, 1974) is a photographer, musician, researcher and programmer in the field of photography. Professor at the School of Arts of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, he is a researcher at CITAR – Research Center for Science and Technology of the Arts. Doctor in Science and Technology of the Arts by the Catholic University of Porto. He has already edited several monographs, and his work is represented in numerous and prestigious photography collections.
