Nuno Faria (Lisbon, 1971)
He is an independent curator and guest professor at the Escola Superior de Design das Caldas da Rainha and at the School of Arts of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. He worked at the Institute of Contemporary Art of the Ministry of Culture of Portugal (1997-2003) and at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (2003-2009). He lived and worked in the Algarve between 2007 and 2012, where he founded (in Loulé, in 2009) the Mobilehome-Escola de Arte Nómada, Experimental e Independente project. He was artistic director of the Centro Internacional das Artes José de Guimarães, in Guimarães (2013-2019) and the Museu da Cidade do Porto (2019-2022).
