The film Luz, by the student Inês Coelho, was selected for the Porto Femme International Film Festival.

The short film will be screened in the Student Competition, on April 19th, at 7:15 pm, at Casa das Artes, in Porto. According to Inês Coelho, this film “emerges, symbolically and metaphorically, as a response of hope to find the balance of these diametrically opposed sensations.”

The project was carried out in the context of the Project Laboratory II curricular unit, of the Undergraduate program in Cinema, with the guidance of professor Jaime Neves and artistic supervision by Sandro Aguilar and João Braz.

Sinopse
This film was made based on the idea of ​​the union of opposites. The protagonist embarks on a journey of self-reflection in which she will unite the opposing emotions that she has within her, the dichotomies unite into one and starting from the fear that she has underlying loneliness, it is understood in the end that the spectator, by being there, shows The one who is not alone and there is a place for her in this world. There is no need to be afraid of abandoning, there is a reunion with yourself.
