There is already a long list of films by students and alumni of the School of Arts that have been included in the programming of national and international film festivals. More recently, four films produced by Jorge Duarte, first year student of the Master in Cinema, Francisca Dores, second year student of the Master in Cinema, Diogo Pinto, alumnus of the Degree in Sound and Image, and Leonor Faria Henriques, alumnus of the Degree in Sound and Image, were selected for competition.
The selected films are:
- "A Lagartixa Cor de Laranja" (Jorge Duarte) and "How to be a candid woman" (Francisca Dores) will be in competition at "FEST - FESTIVAL NEW REALIZERS" - taking place in Espinho, from June 19 to 26, 2023;
- "A Ânsia" (Diogo Pinto) will be in competition at "CORTI A SUD", in Polla, Salerno, Italy, from June 25 to 26, 2023, and at "FESTIVAL ANGAELICA" in Pasadena, USA, from August 3 to 13, 2023;
- "Rua do Caneiro" (Leonor Faria Henriques) will be in competition at the "NEW YORK PORTUGUESE SHORT FILM FESTIVAL" - to be held in New York, United States of America, on June 29, 2023.
A Lagartixa Cor de Laranja
