For three months, two Spanish interns will be working with School of Arts in our radiographic film archive at the Conservation and Restoration Center (CCR).

Maria Esteban Ruiz e Marta Fernandez Gonzalez are participating in the Erasmus program as part of their training in Radiographic Techniques Applied to the Study of Works of Art, promoted by the Community of Madrid in conjunction with the Prado Museum.
 

Currently, they are carrying out specialized technical work that includes the identification, cataloging, digitization, and packaging of the radiographic films in the archive. At the same time, a database will be created that will make available to teachers, students, and researchers not only the digitized images but also the respective interpretation reports. Other activities are also planned during this period at School of Arts.
