The complete program of the 31st edition of Curtas Vila do Conde International Film Festival is already known, announced today at a press conference, which includes three films from EA. Between July 8 and 16, the Vila do Conde Municipal Theater will present works by established authors and emerging talents in world cinema.
The films "1/2 = 1", by Luísa Alegre, third year student of EA's Cinema degree, "Coast", by Francisco Dias, student of EA's Master's degree in Cinema, "Letter to dad", by Rafael Ferreira, student of the Degree in Sound and Image, were selected for competition in the International Festival in the section "Take One", dedicated to what is best produced in national and international film schools.
Along with the films by EA teachers and students, which have been integrating its programming and receiving awards, the Festival has, once again, the partnership of EA, which supports the National Competition Award, with a value of 1500€.
The National Short Film Competition of Vila do Conde signals the importance of this festival for Portuguese cinema and shows that it is, in fact, an obligatory stop for film lovers, but also for curious people looking to experience the seventh art.
