The initiative brought together, at the premises of the Católica School of Arts in Porto, secondary school students interested in finding out about different possibilities for their education.

Divided into groups, the participants were able to experience a practical class in each specialization, lasting approximately 90 minutes, led by teachers.

The program, which was free of charge, was also accompanied by first-year students from the different degrees who gave first-hand accounts of the challenges and opportunities of the different areas and shared with the young people a little of the atmosphere they experience at SoA.

The students, motivated and committed to taking the first steps towards their future, had a variety of experiences, depending on the course, with the aim of teaching, enlightening and entertaining in an academic environment.

This initiative arose from the desire to bring young people closer to the School of Arts, providing them with contact prior to entering the University, with practical activities that determine decision-making.

On June 12, at the same time, the second meeting will take place:

- Conservation and Restoration | 14h30 - 16h00 | Registration soon.
- Cinema | 14h30 - 16h00 | Registration soon.
- Sound and Image | 17h00 - 18h30 | Registration soon.

Note: Only students in the 10th, 11th and 12th grades can take part in these activities. They are not open to accompanying persons (parents, guardians, teachers, etc.).
