The PNC - National Film Plan and School of Arts have established a partnership within the scope of the “Cinema is waiting for you” program.
The “Cinema is waiting for you” program is run by the National Film Plan's partners: the Directorate-General for Education, the Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual and the Cinemateca Portuguesa. Its aim is to promote a taste for going to the cinema, as a genuine and privileged space for enjoying films.
The first session will take place on December 17, at the Ilídio Pinho Auditorium, starting at 10:00, with the screening of a program of Portuguese Animated Short Films. The films will be shown to students from the Santa Bárbara school (Fânzeres-Gondomar).
The program includes the following films:
- Estória do Gato e da Lua. Pedro Serrazina
- História Trágica com Final Feliz. Regina Pessoa
- Os olhos do farol. Pedro Serrazina
- Fuligem. Vasco Sá e David Doutel
- Ice Merchants. João Gonzalez
- O Peculiar Crime do Estranho Sr. Jacinto. Bruno Caetano
The PNC screenings will take place between October 20, 2024 and the end of July 2025.
