On Saturday, July 15, Curtas Vila do Conde announced its award winners at a ceremony held at Teatro Municipal de Vila do Conde. "1/2=1", by Luísa Alegre won the Take One! competition (dedicated to school films). The film was made in the 2nd year of the Degree in Cinema, processed in cyanotype, a manual technique of photographic printing in shades of blue from monochrome negatives.
In addition to this work, the School of Arts also had in the Take One! competition, the films "Litoral", by Francisco Dias, and "Carta ao Pai", by Rafael Ferreira. "Nunca Estive Tão Perto", by Francisca Dores, was premiered in an industry session of Curtas Pro.
In the Take One! competition, an alumna of School of Arts, Catarina Gonçalves, was also awarded the distinction of best director for the documentary "Até que Tenha Fôlego".
School of Arts was also a partner of the festival, sponsoring the National Competition Award.
