This course aims to prepare students for consultation, critical analysis and production of film research. Basically, the objective is to introduce students to the field of film studies, preparing them for elementary film research methodologies and tools, both as producers and as receptors of knowledge. In this sense, it is intended that, at the end of the course, students will be able to:
a) Know, distinguish and understand the various epistemological fields that integrate film studies;
b) Analyze films, authors, filmographies or film affinities through different scientific methodologies;
c) Produce scientific knowledge through the ability to read and critically analyze different films, authors, filmographies or film affinities.
