By the end of the curricular unit, students should be able to:

a) Contextualise the fields of Collections Management as a complementary area to Conservation and Restoration.
b) Provide organisational principles and rules of procedure in the specific field of managing collections of movable property allocated to cultural institutions.
c) To analyse a case study of preservation management from the perspective of the conservator-restorer.
d) Understand the challenges posed by the conservation of scientific collections.
