Born in Lisbon in 1975, the artist lives and works in Lisbon.
In 2003, she received the CELPA/Vieira da Silva Revelation Prize, and in 2007, the Herbert Zapp Preis für Junge Kunst (Young Artist Prize). She has been exhibiting regularly since 2002 and has developed a body of work in drawing and painting, focusing primarily on portraiture.
Her work is represented in several public and private collections, including the Novo Banco Collection, Fundação EDP, Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild, C.A.V., Caixa Geral de Depósitos, António Cachola Collection, Berardo Collection, Union Fenosa, and Kupferstichkabinett – Staatliche Museen zu Berlin.
