The seminar "Ghosts and Deliriums" will provide an opportunity to discuss the various ways in which notions such as spectre, shadow, invisible, unreal, matter or memory are explored in the context of cinema and the visual arts. The reflection will be guided by the idea that the ghost can be understood, on the one hand, as a visual figure or a theme, and, on the other hand, as a concept with a strong symbolic or metaphorical dimension.
