EPoCH 2025. Emerging Perspectives on Conservation and Heritage
Communication and participation
27 to 29 March 2025
Abstract and papers are submited via (Microsoft CMT) and should contain the following information:
Title
Authors' names, affiliations and contacts
Abstract, 500 words maximum
3-5 keywords
3-5 references
Authors’ short bio (maximum 150 words)
All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English, and approval of all co-authors must be obtained before adding their names to the abstract.
Authors should specify if oral communication or poster presentation is preferred.
Papers
After the conference, the authors may submit a full paper to integrate a special issue of Advances in Cultural Heritage (by Universidade Católica Portuguesa), a scientific journal from the Research Center for Science and Technology of the Arts (CITAR) to promote research and dissemination within Heritage and Conservation-restoration emergent and impactful topics. Submitted full papers will be double-blind peer-reviewed following the journals’ review process and published under an open access policy, with no article submission or processing charges.
Oral Presentations
Authors will have 15 minutes time for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion. Before your session starts, you will be asked to check in your presentation on the conference room computer with the technical staff.
Poster Sessions
Posters will be displayed on electronic screens during the coffee breaks. The poster presenter will be requested in advance to send a pdf file to the executive committee and to stand next to their poster during presentation.
The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.
