He has a bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Communication Technology from the Porto Polytechnic Institute, where he taught between 2001 and 2006. He is currently a trainer at the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema. He is one of the most renowned film colorists in Portugal, with over 15 years of experience. Before that, he worked for more than a decade as a video artist in theater, opera and dance shows. With a background in engineering and media studies, his work in color grading and color correction always seeks the perfect balance between technology and creativity, combining them in a unique way in the art and craft of grading the color of a film.
