With a degree in Cinema – Editing from the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema, João Braz has a long CV as an editor for cinema, television and advertising. In addition to other awards, he twice won a Sophia for Best Editing from the Portuguese Cinema Academy. He was an editor for filmmakers such as Cláudia Varejão, João Botelho, João Canijo, Margarida Cardoso, Vicente Alves do Ó, Marco Martins, among others.
