Carla Felizardo, coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Conservation and Restoration, will be present at the Conference on the Pastoral Care of the Church's Cultural Heritage, which will take place on October 17 at the Sanctuary of Cristo Rei in Almada. The professor will be part of the panel of speakers with a session dedicated to the theme “Conservation and Restoration of Polychrome Sculpture: Ethical and Methodological Challenges,” scheduled for 3:15 p.m.
The event is part of the celebration of the National Day of the Church's Cultural Heritage, marked on October 18. With the aim of reflecting on contemporary challenges in the conservation and restoration of ecclesiastical heritage, the conference brings together experts from various fields and is organized by the National Secretariat for the Cultural Heritage of the Church, in partnership with the Diocesan Commission for Architectural and Historical-Artistic Heritage of the Diocese of Setúbal.
