General outcomesof this CU are related to the learning of planning and realization skills the pre-production phase of cinema, games, or animation cinema. They pass through the use of Drawing as a main tool for reflection and design of the material needed to start the production of a project in one of the areas listed.
By the end of the curricular unit, students should be able to:
a) Correctly use the pre-production graphic language for cinema, games, or animation cinema;
b) Understand the pre-production phases, and apply them to the chosen argument;
c) Search and collect relevant visual references for the project;
d) Acquire the graphic tools necessary to complete the conception and planning of cinema, games, or animated cinema;
e) View and record the plans that make up the project, through the creation of a detailed storyboard;
f) Conceive and carry out the visual treatment of the project, through the creation of the concept art;
g) Conceive characters, through the analysis of pre-existing examples (Games and Animation Cinema);
h) Create style alternatives (comedy, horror, drama, etc.) through specific representations of each genre in storyboard (Cinema).
i) Write a production file that clearly describes the project.
