Unity Introduction

4 ECTS / Semestral / Portuguese

The curricular unit of Unity Introduction has as main objective to provide students with basic skills in creating games using the Unity engine.

By the end of the CU, students should be able to:

General Objectives / Competencies

a) Understand the basics of programming using game engines

b) Mastering good practice in game design

c) Master scripting on game engines

Specific Skills

d) Master the IDE Unity's intrinsic concepts: scenes, inspector, hierarchies, design and game

e) Know how to manage the behavior of game objects through components

f) Knows how to manipulate graphics and the main concepts of physics

g) Know the interface and know how to manipulate objects through animation
