On May 28, the School of Arts will host the presentation of two publications from the "Olhares sobre a Animação Portuguesa" project, as part of the partnership with CINANIMA - Espinho International Animated Film Festival.
The presentation is scheduled for 3pm at the Ilídio Pinho Auditorium and will be given by Marina Estela Graça.
The books analyze the films by director duo David Doutel and Vasco Sá, former students and teachers of the MA in Animation at the Escola das Artes, and by Alexandra Ramires, a teacher at the Escola das Artes, and Laura Gonçalves.
The project, which was developed on the basis of the editions of the symposium "Olhares sobre a Animação Portuguesa" held during the 2021 and 2022 editions of CINANIMA, presents two bilingual scientific publications and a Pedagogical Notebook, with the support of ICA.
As part of the 48th edition of CINANIMA, the festival will launch the 4th edition of the symposium "Olhares sobre a Animação Portuguesa", which Sahra Kunz, a professor at the Escola das Artes, has been invited to curate.
