The first conversation in the In-Person cycle, organized by Galeria Vera Cortês in collaboration with School of Arts, took place on January 25.

In-Person is part of the gallery's exhibition program and brings together artists, curators, collectors and researchers to reflect on art.

As part of the opening of Ignasi Aballí's exhibition, the conversation addressed issues related to the exhibition and the artist's work more broadly - exploring how he rethinks the discipline of painting from a conceptual practice.

The conversation was attended by Vasa Perović, a Serbian architect and collector of Ignasi Aballí's works, who is particularly interested in how the artist questions the concepts, contexts and limits of art. The moderator was Nuno Crespo, curator and art critic, who will continue to be present at the next talks in this cycle, to be announced soon.
