Next Friday, February 21, School of Arts will be welcoming Professor Pilar Monteiro Vilar for a conference entitled “Risk and emergency management in cultural heritage: an approach from the Risk and Emergency Management Research Group of the Complutense University of Madrid”.

The presentation will provide an insight into the work carried out by the Risk and Emergency Management Research Group at the Complutense University of Madrid, highlighting its projects and lines of research. One of the main focuses will be the work carried out by the Observatory of Emergencies in Cultural Heritage.

Recognizing the importance of sharing knowledge and a conscious and technical approach to this fundamental and emerging topic, the conference is open to all CITAR researchers and students from School of Arts.

The event, to be held at 10:00 am in room EC132B, aims to promote professional collaboration and research networks, stimulating an enriching dialog on the management of risks and emergencies in cultural heritage.
