Seminars on science and tecn
The new cycle of Science and Technology in the Arts 2026 seminars begins today and runs until March, featuring masterclasses, workshops, and debates. This annual programme (in detail in the attached document) brings together artists, researchers, and practitioners working at the intersection of creativity, critical inquiry, and technological innovation.

Across a diverse set of sessions, participants will have the opportunity to engage with themes such as generative artistic methods, bio art and laboratory-based creative practices, sound studies, acoustic ecologies, digital culture, and contemporary perspectives on cinema and moving-image creation. The seminars aim to foster an open space for artistic exploration, interdisciplinary dialogue, and the exchange of methodologies emerging within today’s rapidly evolving creative landscape.

The series is open to students and CITAR’s researchers who wish to deepen their understanding of current practices and debates shaping the field of arts, science, and technology. Each seminar is led by specialists whose work meaningfully contributes to contemporary artistic and academic discourse.

Participation is free, but registration is mandatory for all sessions.
