Masterclass · Techniques for mounting works on paper and photography

The new series of Masterclasses, Residencies, Workshops, Lectures, and Visits in the area of Heritage • Conservation • Restoration, organized by the School of Arts, brings academics, specialists, and artists to Porto for short stays.
The program includes conferences, practical workshops, discussion sessions with researchers and students, and field trips in partnership with cultural and scientific institutions.
The opening session will be on February 26, with a two-day masterclass led by Valeria Duplat, which will address “Techniques for mounting works on paper and photography.”

Worked at TATE Conservation Department for seven years as the Acquisitions and Long Loans Paper Conservator. Worked independently in France and in ither countries for over 20 contemporary collections, supporting ambitious projects such as museum openings, rehousing campaigns and storage migration. Holds a master’s degree in Paper Conservation from the National Heritage Institute in Paris. |
