The artist-writer will perform a reading with a video projection based on the work "Water is a Time Machine", originally composed of a video installation and a book, which were part of the 2023 São Paulo Art Biennial.
Between word and image, between archive and fable, "Water is a Time Machine" brings together various artistic languages and reconfigures memories by using a non-linear perception of time.
Building a fluid mosaic of eras from historical documents, the artist crosses various planes, in a journey that moves from mourning her mother to late 19th-century Rio de Janeiro, through fragments that reconstruct the lives of some of her ancestors.
