The full recording of the talk Morphogenic Angels: Re-authoring Reality Through Relational Systems, presented by Hana Omori (Keiken), is now available online. The event took place on April 23, 2026, at the Auditório Ilídio Pinho, as part of the Art + Tech x Cosmos = programme at the School of Arts of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
The presentation introduces Chapters 1 and 2 of Morphogenic Angels as part of an ongoing exploration into how reality is constructed through perception, energy, and relational systems. Rather than approaching digital technologies as neutral tools, the project frames them as infrastructures that actively shape how we feel, connect, and understand the world.
Through the use of game engines, immersive environments, and collaborative research — including work with Deaf and Deafblind communities — the project proposes alternative modes of world-building grounded in embodied and non-visual experience. The session also included a short live playthrough of the game, offering insight into how these systems are experienced from within, where perception, interaction, and environment are continuously reshaped in relation to the player.
In the context of cosmotechnics and techno-diverse futures, the talk reflects on how digital systems might be re-authored from within — not to optimise or control, but to support new forms of coexistence, care, and shared realities.
