- Develop knowledge about script writing techniques for animation.
- Master processes of narrative creation for animation cinema.
- Master processes of narrative adaptation for animated film.
- Improve research capabilities and conceptual development of ideas for animated short films.
- Solidify knowledge about storyboard composition techniques for an animated short film.
- Foster creative thinking and narrative awareness in the process of designing an animation storyboard.
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
- Master the fundamental notions of audiovisual narrative in the processes of cinematographic creation and adaptation for animated short films.
- Clearly understand the challenges and idiosyncrasies of the animated film genre (short film).
- Create and develop ideas for animated short films.
- Create and develop the various script writing formats for animation (note of intent, synopses, character description, step-outline, treatment and script).
- Create and develop storyboards that capable and visually represent the discursive options for a given argument.
