Project I Digital Creation Laboratory

12 ECTS / Semester / English, Portuguese

By the end of the course, students should be able to:

a) Understand the functioning of programming tools and physical computing, with the purpose of integrating different digital media as artistic support.
b) Explore the narrative, aesthetic and artistic potential of gathering, manipulating and processing information.
c) Develop methodologies for project and research production that enable the materialization of divergent and speculative reasoning through instruments guided by logical and linear processes.
d) To develop an experimental project sustained by successive reevaluations, capable of moving and remaining able to establish relations with the “outside”, namely with other creative poles, taking a critical position in the global context of artistic production.
