The general aim of this course is to prepare students to implement an audiovisual project that demonstrates their mastery of sound and image production techniques and technologies.

Project I aims to provide an overview of all the technical, creative and technological contingencies of the audiovisual production process, from the script to photography, lighting, camera and sound.

At the end of the course students should be able to:

a) Understand the different phases of an audiovisual project, the tasks and roles involved in each phase and the grammar used in the medium.

b) Develop an idea, establish a script and filming order. Communicate the briefing to the team.

c) Identify the main features of a video camera and how to set it up. Check, set up and use various lenses.

d) Check, set up and effectively use various microphones to capture clear and precise sound.

e) Check, set up and use appropriate lighting for each studio and outdoor set situation.

f) Operate basic video and audio recording and mixing functions.

h) Perform the different functions inherent in an audiovisual production, operating the most diverse equipment for capturing and mixing sound and image, and lighting.
