By the end of the curricular unit, students should be able to:
a) Acquiring knowledge of new image acquisition and processing methods that can be applied to the study of heritage.
b) Acquiring knowledge of the analytical methodologies used in the scientific study of works of art and cultural goods.
c) Acquiring the fundamentals behind the analytical techniques used to identify and characterize the materials that make up cultural and artistic goods.
d) Acquiring knowledge of the applicability and potential of each technique, the complementarity between the various analytical techniques and the advantages and disadvantages associated with each technique.
e) Acquiring skills in interpreting analytical results.
