Phantom of the Paradise

The story follows a talented composer named Winslow Leach, who writes a cantata for the rock impresario Swan, the head of Death Records.
However, Swan steals Winslow's music, leading the composer into a tragic descent. After being disfigured in a freak accident and wrongfully imprisoned, Winslow escapes and becomes the mysterious Phantom who haunts Swan’s new music venue, The Paradise.

As she rises to notoriety, she becomes the muse of a pair of deranged beauty salon owners who believe that crime and beauty are the ultimate forms of art.

Velvet Goldmine is a homage to the glam rock era of the 1970s.
The film follows Arthur Stuart, a journalist, as he investigates the rise and mysterious fall of Brian Slade, a Bowie-esque rock star who faked his own assassination on stage and disappeared from public life.
The story unfolds through a series of interviews and flashbacks, revealing Slade's turbulent relationships with fellow musician Curt Wild and his manager, while exploring themes of identity, fame, and the fluidity of sexuality.
Velvet Goldmine is a celebration of artistic rebellion and the cultural revolutions of the time.
