This roundtable offers a dynamic space for reflection and exchange of experiences around landmark cultural and creative projects — intersecting innovative practices, development strategies, and funding opportunities within a European and global context.

We are pleased to welcome Céu Filipe, Director-General of the Cultural and Creative Industries Cluster and Chair of the European Expert Group for this sector. With extensive experience in innovation policy, international cooperation, and EU funding — notably through the Enterprise Europe Network and Horizon 2020 projects — her contribution will offer a strategic perspective on how to enhance the sector’s competitiveness, sustainability, and economic visibility.

Joining her is Luís Fernandes, musician, curator, and Artistic Director of Semibreve Festival and gnration. His artistic practice and cultural management exemplify innovative models of production, internationalization, and sustainability on the ground. His voice will be essential in illustrating how creativity translates into tangible projects with both local impact and global reach.

Also confirmed is Nuno Soares, Chief Business Officer at INOVA+, with over 20 years of experience in business development, innovation consulting, and securing R&D funding — both national and European. An expert in business modeling, technology transfer, and startup mentoring, he has directly supported the launch of over 15 new tech ventures in fields such as robotics, energy efficiency, and mobile gaming, and co-founded a seed investment fund (INDEX TALENT) focused on technology-based startups. His intervention will provide practical insights into accessing funding, building partnerships, and scaling creative projects through innovation and entrepreneurial frameworks.

An unmissable gathering for anyone seeking to understand, engage with, and grow within the creative industries — at the intersection of policy, art, and innovation
