The new series of Masterclasses - Residencies - Workshops - Talks - Visits in the field of Heritage • Conservation • Restoration, organised by the School of Arts, brings scholars, experts and artists to Porto for short stays that include open lectures, hands-on workshops focused on material and technical experimentation, small-group sessions for reflection and discussion with researchers and master's and doctoral students, as well as field visits conducted in collaboration with cultural and scientific institutions.

Combining scientific inquiry, critical thought, creativity and practical engagement, the programme offers opportunities to access up-to-date knowledge and to cultivate forward-looking approaches to Heritage • Conservation • Restoration. It also equips the field to address processes of change and positions it at the centre of contemporary heritage, cultural, social and environmental debates.
