Católica joins the Portuguese Contemporary Art Network.

The request submitted by School of Arts for the Católica Art Center to join the Portuguese Contemporary Art Network (RPAC) was approved by the Minister of Culture on September 16.

The Católica Art Center includes three multipurpose spaces - the Exhibition Hall, with regular programming since 2018, an important space for experimentation, development and creation of new artistic productions; the Ilídio Pinho Auditorium, with weekly film programming and meetings with artists; and the Blackbox, more dedicated to the performing arts.

RPAC is a benchmark platform for boosting Portuguese contemporary art, which brings together the various institutions operating in this field throughout the country, promoting the socio-economic development of territories, territorial cohesion, the correction of asymmetries and the mobility of audiences.
