Project Legislation and Management

2 ECTS / Semestral / English, Portuguese

Objectives:

a) Provide knowledge of legislation and the framework for the profession of conservator-restorer in the labour market.
b) Provide knowledge of site and project management.
c) Provide knowledge of site organisation, teamwork, work coordination, budgeting and business relationships.

By the end of the curricular unit, students should be able to:

a) Master the legal mechanisms regulating the conservation and restoration/rehabilitation sector.
b) Organise structured responses to public tenders (contracts/subcontracts), private clients, etc.
c) Budgeting proposals and managing/coordinating work on site.
d) Being part of multidisciplinary teams.
