By the end of the curricular unit, students should be able to:

a) Provide the student with a set of techniques and practices of musical and sound creation associated with the main currents of electroacoustic music in the centurys XX and XXI;
b) Provide the student with a set of knowledge about digital audio, MIDI and the main synthesis and sound production techniques, oriented towards artistic production;
c) Open perspectives of production and creation based on the observation, hearing and analysis of artistic works. The student, throughout the semester, must carry out a portfolio of works based on specific challenges and must carry out a final project that consists of a musical work with an artistic dimension of a more personal and contemporary character. The fulfillment of these objectives must take into account the profile and the tendency of creative output of each student.
