The European Commission's recent publication, "Community for Educational Innovation: Entrepreneurial Skills and Mindsets in Education," highlights the Master's programme in Enterprise Management for Creative Industries at Universidade Católica Portuguesa as a model of international best practice.

The "Between Seas and Networks" initiative, a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) programme developed in partnership with the Centre for Studies in Latin American Communication and Culture at the University of São Paulo, exemplifies how cross-border collaboration fosters entrepreneurial competences. During the second semester, multidisciplinary teams comprising students from the Master's in Enterprise Management for Creative Industries (Portugal) and the Specialisation Course in Cultural Project Management (University of São Paulo) work together to address real challenges in the cultural and creative sectors, developing essential skills including intercultural communication, collaborative problem-solving, and digital fluency.

This recognition by the European Commission affirms the programme's commitment to innovative, experiential learning that connects academic excellence with professional practice—preparing graduates to lead and innovate within Europe's creative industries.
