School of Arts, in collaboration with the CCD - Centro Criatividade Digital, is presenting a workshop on DCP - Digital Cinema Package on November 29 at 2pm in the Ilídio Pinho Auditorium.
As part of the preparation for the final productions of the students' projects, the Escola das Artes is promoting a workshop aimed at students and people with an interest in the area of cinema who want to deepen their knowledge.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to create a DCP - Digital Cinema Package of their films for festivals and digital distribution. Important topics will be covered such as:
- What is a DCP;
- Differences between conventional Codecs and DCP;
- P3 color space vs Rec.709;
- How to create DCP's (Premier/Davinci Resolve/DCP O'matic);
- Injest DCP;
This workshop is part of a series of training courses called Behind the Tools, organized by EA free of charge, which aim to provide their students with complementary practical and artistic training, geared towards the knowledge and implementation of the main techniques of the areas of study, providing them with a solid foundation to face the challenges and professional opportunities that may arise.
Admission is free, but registration is required by November 27 and can be done here.
The training is open to alumni and outsiders, subject to space availability.
