Applications for Harvard Summer School open until January 6 for Catholic University students

Monday, December 15, 2025 - 10:46

Applications to participate in Harvard Summer School under the partnership between Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) and Harvard Division of Continuing Education (DCE) are now open and will run until January 6. Eligible Catholic University students can thus apply to join the intensive academic programs that will take place in the summer of 2026.

This opportunity follows the collaboration agreement that UCP signed on November 13 with Harvard University's Division of Continuing Education, through which it became an official member of the DCE Global Partner Program. This partnership gives Católica students privileged access to Harvard Summer School, one of the most prestigious international academic initiatives.

With this agreement, eligible Católica students will have access to the prestigious academic offerings of Harvard Summer School through three- or four-week academic programs, joining students from renowned universities around the world. Participants will have the opportunity to attend highly demanding courses, gaining access to Harvard's dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Harvard Summer School welcomes thousands of students every year from more than 100 countries. As part of the Global Partner Program, Católica students will receive support with enrollment, advice, and access to exclusive events for partners, designed to promote cultural exchange and global networking.

According to the Dean of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Isabel Capeloa Gil, this partnership “is in line with Católica's strategy of providing students with learning experiences that enable them to become global leaders in their fields.”

Presentations of the program have already been given by representatives of the Harvard Division of Continuing Education, who visited the Lisbon and Porto campuses on November 20 and 21, respectively.+info
