On December 4, School of Arts welcomes Paco Cruz, director and comedic story artist, to conduct a Masterclass on directing advertising, open to the entire school community.

The event takes place at 14:30 in the Ilídio Pinho Auditorium and will reflect on the artist's creative process, as well as how to find the right visual language for each project, each script, each client, how to structure a film, a scene, a shot, always in favor of the characters and the narrative.

Graduated from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, School of Arts in Sound and Image, it was with the short film “Um filme Sem História” that he began his career as a director. The short film went on to win the “Grand Prix at the European Capital of Culture Festival - Odyssey of the Images” and was also shown at the “Cannes International Film Festival”. In Lisbon, London, Paris, Berlin, New York, Miami, Shanghai, Toronto and Madrid, over the years he has had the opportunity to work with some of the most important brands and advertising agencies in the international market, such as Axe, Vodafone, LinkedIn, DoorDash, Honda, Paypal, McDonalds, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Danone and National Lottery, Young&Rubican, VCCP London, McCann, TBWA WorldWide, JWT, Publicis, BBDO, Havas WorldWide and Ogilvy.
