Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:

• To Know the theoretical concepts and specific terminology in the field of conservation and restoration;
• To know and identify the possible causes of deterioration of gilded and polychrome surfaces on wood;
• To know and identify the pathologies present in golden and polychrome surfaces on wood;
• To recognize and manipulate the various instruments and materials used in the conservation and restoration of gilded and polychrome surfaces on wood;
• To develop appropriate intervention methodologies, in compliance with the profession's ethical code.
