Management and Strategy in Creative Industries

6 ECTS / Semestral / English, Portuguese

This unit aims to develop the skills necessary for a deeper understanding of the theories of organization, management and strategy.
At the end of the course, the student will have learned a set of concepts, tools and basic models that will allow him/her to observe, analyse and understand an organization as a whole and its environment. Special attention will be given to the study of two elements:  Management and Strategy. The concept of culture will also be discussed with the aim of developing skills that allow its diagnosis, as well as the understanding of its various aspects.
