Evaluation and Impact in Creative Industries

6 ECTS / Semestral / English, Portuguese

At the end of the curricular unit, students will be able to:

a) Master concepts related to the evaluation and monitoring of cultural projects;
b) Understand the importance of evaluation as a management and monitoring tool in the cultural and creative sector;
c) Be familiar with current cultural and creative project evaluation practices and their methodological principles;
d) Distinguish between project evaluation types and criteria;
e) Critically reflect on the position of culture in society and the weight of cultural activities in the economy, using impact assessment methods;
f) Develop practical cultural project evaluation exercises.
