Querelle, the last film by Rainer Werner Fassbinder, is an adaptation of the novel by Jean Genet that tells the story of the sailor Querelle, who disembarks in Brest.
In this dreamlike and vibrant port, you become involved in a web of passions, crimes and betrayals, causing a whirlwind of emotions and conflicts among the local inhabitants.

Separated by thick walls, they establish an erotic and emotional relationship through a small hole in the wall of their cells.
With the silent complicity of a guardian, they use simple objects to express their love and desire for each other.
