Tribute integrates the display of three films and a discussion / debate on what is one of the greatest Portuguese poets.

The Port Catholic joins the celebration of the 162 anniversary of War Junqueiro, marked on 15 September, organized by Confederation core Theater for the investigation, called "In the Name of Peace: Cine-conversation around Junqueiro War." The tribute, held over two days, the exhibition includes three films that make different film looks, different in time and perspective, about the poet of "The Simple" and "Homeland."

At 17.00 in the Auditorium of Miragaia in Porto, are displayed works "Guerra Junqueiro" (Leonel Brito) and "The Douro in Paths of War Literature ... Junqueiro" (Mário Augusto). Already at 21.00, is designed documentary "Name of War: the Journey of Junqueiro" feature film held by Manuel Henrique Pereira (teaching of the Catholic Porto) and produced by Sound and Image Department at the School of Arts of the institution.

The projection of the works culminates with a discussion / debate that aims to explore the many facets of the personality of one of the greatest figures of Portuguese literature. The morning of September 16th booking a tour of the House Museum Foundation Guerra Junqueiro and Maria Isabel Guerra Junqueiro.
