Previous Invited Lecturers :

  • Salomé Voeglin - artist, writer and researcher. She is the Principle Investigator of the UK research council funded project Listening across Disciplines II. Professor of Sound at the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London, and currently represents the Professorship in Sound Studies at the University of Fine Arts Braunschweig.
  • Steve Goodman (aka Kode9) - musician, DJ, artist and writer. He was awarded Innovator and Small Label of the Year from AIM. His sound designs have recently been presented as part of the Hyundai commission at the Tate Modern (2018) and the Barbican ‘AI: More than Human’ in London (2019). His book ‘Sonic Warfare’ was published on MIT Press in 2009 and with AUDINT he co-edited the book ‘Unsound: Undead’ for Urbanomic Press in 2019.
  • Warren Neidich - is a recipient of the Vilem Flusser Theory Award, Transmediale, AHRB/ACE Arts and Science Research Fellowship, Bristol and a Fulbright Scholarship. Edited three volumes of the Psychopathologies of Cognitive Capitalism, published by Archive Books, and Neuromacht, published in German by Merve Verlag. His Glossary of Cognitive Activism was published for the opening of his solo exhibition “Rumor to Delusion” at the 2019 Venice Biennial.
  • Clarence Barlow - was in charge of computer music at the biannual Darmstadt New Music Summer Courses, lecturer on computer music at Cologne Music University, artistic director of the Institute of Sonology at the Royal Conservatory The Hague.
  • Tarek Atoui - is an artist and composer. He worked as an artistic director at STEIM nad Presented is work at dOCUMENTA 13, Tate Modern, Venice Biennale, etc.
  • Mathieu Moon Saura ‘Vincent Moon’ - Independent filmmaker and sound explorer. He Was  the main director of La Blogothèque’s Take Away Shows. The web based project of recording musicians and bands performing their work in unexpected locations led Moon to be dubbed ‘the re-inventor of the music video’ by the New York Times. 
  • Thomas Ankersmit - is a musician and sound artist. His music is released on the Shelter Press, PAN, and Touch labels. 
  • Mariana Pestana - architect and researcher. Creates cultural programs such asThe Future Starts Here (V&A, 2018) and Eco Visionaries (Maat, Royal Academy and Matadero, 2018-19) or the 5th Istanbul Design Biennial (2020-21). She is co-founder and director of the interdisciplinary studio The Decorators and Guest Assistant Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon.
  • Pierce Warnecke - multidisciplinary digital artist. He has presented his work at MUTEK, ZKM, CTM, IRCAM, Elektra, KW Institut, La Biennale NEMO, Sonic Acts, Martin Gropius Bau, MAC Montreal, Scopitone, LEV Festival, SXSW, FILE, etc.
  • Arjuna Neuman – Artist and filmmaker that presented his work at 56th Venice Biennale and SuperCommunity (2016); Industry of Light, London (2017); the Haus Der Kulturen der Welt (2016); Serpentine Gallery, London; Qalandia Biennial; Gasworks, London (2018); among others.
  • Aeron Willamon – Professor of Performance Science at the Royal College of Music
  • Ajay Kapur – Director of the program in Music Technology (MTIID) at the California Institute of the Arts (Calarts)and lecturer of Sonic Arts at the New Zealand School of Music
  • Andy Farnell – Computer Scientist from the UK with many years experience of digital sound and author of the book "Designing Sound"
  • Antonio Camurri – Associate Professor at DIST-University of Genova (Faculty of Engineering), founder and scientific director of the InfoMus Lab at DIST-University of Genova, scientific director of the Casa Paganini International Centre of Excellence on science and multimedia technologies for music and performing art
